Mr. Thomas has dedicated his life to discussing the need for awareness, education, and resources for male survivors of abuse (sexual, domestic violence, etc.) and the issues that too often stem from abuse (drug addiction, trust issues, communication barriers). In addition, his critical work is tied into his upcoming program series, in development, called Men of Courage where abuse and trauma are further discussed through interviews of male survivors.
Damon Thomas balances life as a father, author, TV host, and motivational speaker stressing the importance of helping others overcome life’s most emotional experiences. Damon has always had a passion for positivity and form of normalcy. Currently living in Atlanta, Georgia, Damon was reared in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Although his childhood was compelling, Damon’s persona was nothing more than vibrant. At an early age, one of life’s personal experiences inspired him to reach out to young men and women. Giving back through teaching, mentoring, and educating others through life’s most pivotal moments soon became a passion.
OUR MISSION
The Men of Courage Show is a program that will embrace both reality and substance. This show is designed to delve into the lives of (everyday) people who’ve experienced extraordinary things, have accomplished incredible goals and achieved immeasurable success, despite the demons of their past. This show will become the informational and communal safety net for persons seeking answers and solutions to their greatest personal challenges. While The Men of Courage Show is not intended to replace professional expertise in many areas of need, its goal is to serve as the conduit and portal for individuals to find solace through true and accurate solutions. With a team of professional counselors, each guest is offered free services to fit their person needs of growth in life.
